The follow is a compiled list of all the arcane spells you have access to from looted spellbooks. It does not include scrolls that are one use item even to copy.

1st Level:

Vyell’s Spell Research

The following is Vyells attempts at researching custom spells to help solve practical problems that he faces given his unique limitations.

Spell 1 “Vyell’s Swingin’ Sole”

A spell in which Vyell is able to enchant his boots and/or limbs to inflict more regular damage against constructs, undead, and others not normally affected by his boots main damage.

Goals

  • Damage comparable to normal damage.
  • Long Duration
  • Low level

Obviously enhanced higher level versions are also worth noting for future endeavors.

Vyell’s Swingin’ Sole (Alteration/Evocation) (Level 1)
Range: 0

Duration: 1 round/level
Casting Time: 1
Area of Effect: Caster
Saving Throw: None

This spell infuses the caster’s limbs (commonly the feet and legs, hence the name, but could be any limb) with force energy, causing all damage dealt with it to be considered force damage, and thus lethal. This does not make them count as magic for the purposes of determining monsters they can hit, but does stack with any other enchantments that might, such as magical weapons.

Vyell’s Swingin’ Sole, Improved (Alteration/Evocation) (Level 3)
Range: 0
Components: V, S
Duration: 1 hour/level
Casting Time: 1
Area of Effect: Caster
Saving Throw: None

Like with the level one version of this spell, the casters limbs are infused with force, allowing them to strike enemies with lethal impact. This version however has a greatly increased duration, allowing the caster to cast it fewer times at the cost of greater energy expended.

Spell 2 “Vyell’s Transcendant Tap”

A spell in which Vyells ranged abilities are enhanced, given the limitations of his class.

Goals

  • Decent ranged alternative when it is important.

Ideal Outcome

Vyell’s Transcendant Tapdance (Alteration/Evocation) (Level 2)
Range: 0
Components: V, S
Duration: 2 rounds + 1 round/3 levels.
Casting Time: 1
Area of Effect: Caster
Saving Throw: None

Through this spell the caster is able to infuse their form with magical force, by striking forth they can then project this energy to distant targets, where they impact as if physical blows. Unfortunately the magic only infuses living flesh, and thus have no impact on wielded weapons such as swords.

Attacks performed this way have a range of 30/60/120, with standard ranged penalties applied.
